Q&A

In the Events section, administrators can manage the event Q&A. Admins can moderate questions, approve entries, enable anonymous submissions, auto-approve submissions, and delete entries.

To access Q&A configuration settings, click the View button on the desired Q&A.

Configuring Q&A

On the Q&A configuration page, there are two configuration toggles:

• Auto-Approval Q&A: When this option is active, all questions submitted through the app are automatically approved and become visible to all users without admin moderation.
• Ask Anonymously: When this option is active, users can submit questions anonymously, hiding their name and profile photo.

Creating Questions

Users can submit and view questions directly in the app. To do this, they navigate to the event, scroll to the Feedback section, and tap on the Q&A tile.

In the top-right corner of the resulting Q&A page, users can create a new question by tapping on the Ask button. This opens the question creation page, which includes:

• A text field for entering the question.
• A toggle to Ask Anonymously, if the admin has enabled it in the settings. This feature allows users to hide their name and profile photo.

Moderating Q&As

By default, submitted questions first appear under the Pending Approval tab. Admins can manage questions that are pending approval using the following actions:

• Approve: Moves the question to the Approved tab and makes it visible to all users in the app.

TIP

If Auto Approval Q&A is enabled, admins no longer need to manually approve questions before they show up to all users in the app.

• Decline: Moves the question to the Declined tab. In this status, the question is not visible in the app but remains in the admin panel for record-keeping.

NOTE

If the question was submitted anonymously, the admin will not see any user details (name or photo).

Filters and Statuses (In App)

In the app, the Q&A section includes filter chips that help users sort questions:

• Popular: Displays questions from the most to the least popular, based on the number of likes.
• Recent: Sorts questions from newest to oldest, based on the publication time.
• My Questions: Shows only the questions submitted by the current user, including regular and anonymous questions.

Question Statuses

Each question in Q&A has a status that reflects its moderation state:

• Approved: The question has passed moderation and is visible to all users in the app.
• Declined: Visible only to the question’s author. The question did not pass moderation and is hidden from other users.
• Pending Approval: Visible only to the question’s author. In this case, the question is pending moderation.

All statuses are applicable and visible within every filter category (Popular, Recent, My Questions).
