Activity attachments

In some cases, you may want to attach a file to an activity record.

To enable the activity attachment feature

Note

Some activity types are system-generated (for example, Order) and are not intended for editing. However, if you want to attach a file to one of these activity types you must enable the Allow user Edit option. Enable the Allow user Edit option on the Activity types window.

1. Select File > System Setup to open the System Setup window.
2. Click Edit.
3. Enable the Activity Attachments allowed option.
4. Enter a value in the Maximum file size (KB) field. See Specifying maximum size of activity attachments for more information.

A message informs you that the maximum file size you specified may not be practical and may have adverse effects on performance.

5. Click OK.
6. Click Save.
