Specifying an alternate data source

To use Duplicate Merge Manager with a data source other than the one that was in use the last time iMIS was started, you must specify the Data Source Name in the Local Preferences window.

1. Open iMIS and click Cancel when the log on window opens.
2. Select Logon > Set Host Location. The Local Preferences window displays.
3. Click Edit and enter the desired Application Servers exactly as shown in the ODBC configuration.
4. Click OK.
5. Select Logon > Logon to Host to display the iMIS Log On window.
6. Enter your User ID and Password and click OK to start iMIS.

Index on ID field

User-defined tables used in Find Duplicates, Manage Groups, and Choose Columns are required to have an index on the ID field. See your system administrator for further details.
