Renting Booths in EXPOCAD
Renting booths in EXPOCAD updates the ExpoCadExp.dbf file. This file is located in the same folder as the Master Exhibitor and/or Event Exhibitor dbf file. The file is updated as follows:
- COUNT_VAL field is equal to the last UNIQUEID field
- ORIG_BOOTH field holds the booth number
- BOOTH_SIZE is the total booth area
- BOOTH_TYPE is the type of booth rented
- EXHB_ID is the Exhibitor ID
- EVENT_NAME is the name of the Event in EXPOCAD and the name of the Exposition in iMIS
- PROC_DESC displays Rent Booth
- INSERT_DAT is the date and time that the booth was rented in EXPOCAD
NoteIt is not recommended that the Booth Type be changed after a booth has been rented. The booth type is the key to product mapping in iMIS. If you change the Booth Type in EXPOCAD, the ExpoCadExp.dbf will not be updated.
NoteDo not select File > Event Copy after a booth has been rented, as this will prevent an activity record from being inserted in the ExpoCadExp.dbf file for the new event.
