System Settings: Global

To update the Global settings, do the following:

1. Go to System Administration > System Settings.

2. Click the Global tab.

3. Define the following settings:

   • Language - Select the default language at user level.
   • Display Language Picker - Enable the display of the language picker on the header bar. This setting is independent of the User Profile Language Picker setting.

     📘

     Note

     Setting should only be switched on if the appropriate localised translations are available.

   • Server Time Zone - Displays time zone for the TopClass server.

     Warning

     Changing the following settings can cause system access issues. To update TopClass URL information, enter a Support Ticket.

   • TopClass Login URL - Enter the URL for the TopClass Login screen.
   • TopClass Logout URL - Enter the URL for the TopClass Logout screen.
   • Master System URL - Enter the URL for the Master System.
   • TopClass Redirect URL - Redirect functionality is enabled if TopClass Redirect URL is set. Redirect filter sits at the end of the SSO chain and is triggered by the following:
     • login.do URL.
     • user is not authenticated.
   • URL to TopClass - The Fully Qualified URL for the TopClass LMS Web Application. Used to include resources such as Images, Social Media links etc.
     For example https://domain-name.org/topclass/. Please include forward-slash "/" at end of URL.
