Real-time notifications for certification programs

This article lists the real-time notifications that are available for Certification Programs out of the box with TopClass. The descriptions of what triggers each notification is provided along with an explanation of what each variable and logic block is intended to show.

Trigger - Added to Certification Program Certification Path

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner is added to a Certification Path for a Certification Program by an Administrator.

Variables:

• Certification Path Title – The title of the Certification Path the learner has been added to within the Program
• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program
• Home Page Link – This is a link to the learners TopClass Learning Center
• Recipient Login Name – This is the email recipients TopClass username
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Logic Blocks:

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Trigger – Removed from Certification Program Certification Path

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner is removed from a Certification Path for a Certification Program.

Variables:

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program
• Home Page Link – This is a link to the learners TopClass Learning Center
• Recipient Login Name – This is the email recipients TopClass username
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Logic Blocks:

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by

Trigger – Certification Program Revoked

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner has an attainment of a Certification Program revoked by an Administrator.

Variables:

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program
• Home Page Link – This is a link to the learners TopClass Learning Center
• Recipient Login Name – This is the email recipients TopClass username
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Trigger – Certification Program Certification Path Completed

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner completes a Certification Path for a Certification Program.

Variables:

• Certification Path Title – The title of the Certification Path the learner has completed within the Program
• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program
• Home Page Link – This is a link to the learners TopClass Learning Center
• Recipient Login Name – This is the email recipients TopClass username
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Logic Blocks:

Trigger - Added to Certification Program Without Assigned Certification Path

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner is added into an overall Certification Program, but not assigned to a Certification Path.

Variables:

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program
• Home Page Link – This is a link to the learners TopClass Learning Center
• Recipient Login Name – This is the email recipients TopClass username
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Logic Blocks:

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by

Trigger – Transferred from one Certification Path to Another in the Same Certification Program

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner is transferred from one certification path for a Certification Program to another Certification Path for the same Certification Program.

Variables:

• New Certification Path Title – The title of the Certification Path the learner has been transferred to within the Program
• Old Certification Path Title – The title of the Certification Path the learner has been transferred from within the Program
• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program

Trigger – Certification Program Expiry Date

This is a real-time notification which is fired when a user first interacts with a Certification Program which is expired.

Variables:

• Certification Path Title – The title of the Certification Path the learner is expired in within the Program
• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program
• Home Page Link – This is a link to the learners TopClass Learning Center
• Recipient Login Name – This is the email recipients TopClass username
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Trigger – Removed from Certification Program

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner is removed from a Certification Program, without having previously been assigned to a Certification Path.

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program

• Recipient Login Name – This is the email recipients TopClass username
• Recipient Real Name – This is the email recipients TopClass first name, middle name and last name

Logic Blocks:

Trigger – Awarded Certification Program

This is a real-time notification which is fired whenever a learner is manually awarded a Certification Program by an Administrator.

Variables:

• Certification Program Expiry Date – This is the date the user is required to complete the Certification Path by
• Certification Programs Link – This is the link to the learners Certification tab of the Learning Center
• Object Title – This is the TopClass Certification Program Title (or longname)
• Code – This is the unique TopClass Identifier (or shortname) of the Certification Program
