To find the Training Coordination reports, do the following:

  1. Go to Reports > Launch Reports.
  2. Click the Training Coordination drop-down.
  3. Select from the following reports.

Activity Evaluation Report

The Activity Evaluation Report provides a detailed view of learner activity completions, including post-test exam results and evaluation responses. The report displays the learner’s most recent attempt for each component and includes results when a learner has attempted a test or evaluation, allowing administrators to review performance and participation across the activity.

The report supports filtering multiple activities, making it suitable for tracking students' interactions across many courses. For each completed activity, the report returns learner demographic information, completion details, post-test exam scores, and individual evaluation or post-work question responses (one row per question).

Configuring and assigning required test types

To accurately distinguish between exam results and evaluation responses, the report relies on Test Types. Each activity must include no more than one Post Test Exam and one Post Test Evaluation, assigned to the POST_TEST_EXAM and POST_TEST_EVALUATION test types, so the report can correctly return scores and question responses.

Do the following to create and assign these test types:

  1. Go to System Administration > System Settings.
  2. Click the Test Types tab.
  3. Click Add New Test Type:
    1. Code - POST_TEST_EXAM
    2. Description – Post Test Exam
    3. Click Create.
  4. Click Add New Test Type:
    1. Code - POST_TEST_EVALUATION
    2. Description – Post Test Evaluation
    3. Click Create.
  5. Go to Activities and Learning > Content.
  6. Search for and open the post-test exam.
  7. Click the Test Settings tab.
  8. From the Test Type drop-down, choose Post Test Exam.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Repeat these steps for the evaluation test, selecting Post Test Evaluation as the Test Type. Each activity should include only one Post Test Exam and one Post Test Evaluation.

Running the Activity Evaluation Report

🚧

Warning

Before you can run the Activity Evaluation Report, you must configure and assign specific Test Types. See Configuring and assigning required test types before using the Activity Evaluation Report.

From the Activity filter, select the learning activities you want to review. Selecting a large number of activities (approximately 50 or more) may prevent the report from running successfully. For best performance, limit the number of activities selected.

Aggregate Survey Responses [Boolean, Pick One, Likert]

Provides an anonymous summary of learner responses to Boolean (Yes/No), Pick One (single choice), and Likert scale questions from survey activities in TopClass. It helps analyze feedback trends from pre- and post-learning exercises.

Select the survey Activity you want to review, then specify a Date Completed range to include only responses submitted within that period. The report displays aggregated results without identifying individual learners, making it ideal for evaluating overall sentiment or effectiveness across groups.

Aggregate Survey Responses [Text]

Provides an anonymous summary of open-ended (text) responses from survey activities in TopClass. It allows review of written feedback collected from learners in pre- and post-learning surveys.

Select the survey Activity you want to analyze, then specify a Date Completed range to include only responses submitted within that period. The report displays aggregated text responses without identifying individual learners, making it useful for gathering qualitative insights and common themes.

Aggregate Test Responses [Boolean, Pick One, Likert]

Provides a summary of learner responses to Boolean (Yes/No), Pick One (single choice), and Likert scale questions from test activities in TopClass. It helps evaluate overall response patterns and trends across learners.

First select the Activity containing the test, then choose the specific Test to analyze. Specify a Date Completed range to include only responses submitted within that period. The report displays aggregated results without identifying individual learners.
