System Settings: Switches

To update the Switches settings, do the following:

1. Go to System Administration > System Settings.
2. Click the Switches tab.
3. Define the following settings:
   • Allow tutor as student - Select Yes to enable tutor with student access rights.
   • Award Credits by Sub Type - Enabling this setting changes the awarding of credits on an activity. When enabled, credits must be added to the activity and sub credit types are limited to 1 sub type per credit type. Multiple credit types can be added with different sub types.

     This setting should not be enabled without first completing a paid consultation with TopClass to determine the impact on existing data.

   • Claim Credits - Select Yes to enable users creating Catalog activities to configure the ability for users to claim the Credits value against each activity.
   • Popup Mail - Select whether the Sent message mail should appear in a popup.
   • Social Media Icons - Select whether or not the social media icons in the header bar are visible to users.
   • Use Credits - Select whether or not users creating Catalog activities should be able to record a Credits value against each activity.
