Deleting users in bulk

Prerequisites:

  • Login as a super administrator.
  • Create a group with a joining operation to delete users

Create a group with a joining operation to delete users

Do the following:

  1. Go to Resource Management > Groups.
  2. Click + Add Groups To.
  3. Enter a unique Code and Title.
  4. Click + Add 1 New Sub-Group.
  1. Select the new group to open it.
  2. Click the Advanced Options tab, then choose Operations.
  1. Click Create new operation.
  2. Select Delete the user and click the Next.
  1. Click OK.
  2. Save the group.

Deleting users in bulk

Do the following to delete users in bulk:

  1. Go to Resource Management > Users.
  2. Click Batch Register.
  3. Click Enroll Existing Users.
  1. Enter a Title for the task, such as Delete users from LMS.

Tip

Select Download Sample, so you can use the sample file to begin creating your own file.

  1. Click Upload CSV. This should include the users you want deleted. The file should contain the TopClass username for users you want deleted.
  2. Click Next Step.
  3. Click the Groups tab.
  4. Click Select.
  5. Select the group you created with the deletion operation.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Click Register.

Users selected/specified in the file will be deleted completely from TopClass and will not be recoverable. User accounts and their associated training history records will be removed from TopClass.
