Defining parameters for an activity in the PARS report

Online and ILT activities can be included in the PARS report. To define the parameters for a learning activity to be included in the PARS report , do the following:

  1. Go to Activities & Learning > Learning Activities.
  2. Select the relevant activity.
  3. Go to Advanced Options > PARS.
    📘

    Note

For ILT activities, the PARS report is intended for ILTs where credits are awarded at an activity level, rather than at a session level. It provides one line item per ILT activity and counts each student who attended one or more sessions only once.

  4. Configure the following fields:
    • Record Action - Select whether the record should be unchanged (None), added (Add), updated (Update) or deleted (Delete) when the learner status is updated to Satisfied & Completed (online activity) or marked as Attended (ILT activity).

      Important

For ILT activities, PARS will only include learners marked as Attended. If partial credits are awarded (learner marked as Partially Attended), the learner will not be included in report.

    • ACCME Activity ID - A unique, automatically generated number from PARS once the activity is initially added.

      📘

      Note

The field should be blank when a new activity record is being added.

    • Internal ID - Defaults to Activity Code. It can be edited and will not affect the Activity Code on the General Details tab.

    • Activity Format - Select the format of the activity from the following:

      • None
        📘

        Note
