Cloud Services
The ASI Cloud Services team is responsible for delivering a secure, stable, and high-performing hosted environment for your iMIS solution.
While hosted by ASI, your iMIS environment runs within a managed cloud infrastructure built on Microsoft Azure. Azure supplies the enterprise-grade cloud platform, while ASI Cloud Services architects, configures, secures, monitors, and maintains the iMIS environment within that platform.
The goal is to ensure your environment remains secure, available, and aligned with product best practices, so you can focus on serving your members.
What Cloud Services is responsible for
Cloud Services is responsible for the infrastructure and operational management of the hosted environment that supports your iMIS application, which includes the following:
- Provisioning and maintaining servers, networking, and storage.
- Monitoring system health and performance.
- Maintaining infrastructure-level security controls.
- Ensuring environments remain stable and available.
- Managing infrastructure scaling when required (for example, server resizing).
Cloud Services also manages the technical deployment of iMIS upgrades including the following:
- Deployment to internal and early-adopter environments.
- Validation within a limited production group.
- Deployment to the broader production client base once stability is confirmed.
In addition, the team supports certain hosting-level requests including the following:
- DNS configuration updates.
- Infrastructure or environment adjustments.
- Email infrastructure tasks for organizations using iMIS Mail Service, including authenticated email domain configuration and email domain change.
Cloud Services follows established security and access governance processes such as the following:
- Enforcing Support Portal access policies.
- Following ISO and PCI change management processes where applicable.
- Protecting hosted databases and infrastructure according to ASI security and legal standards.
What Cloud Services is not responsible for
While Cloud Services manages the hosting infrastructure, it does not provide application-level configuration or consulting within iMIS.
Cloud Services does not perform the following tasks:
- Configuring iMIS modules.
- Building IQA queries.
- Modifying panels or forms.
- Designing workflows.
- Performing business process consulting.
Requests related to application functionality, configuration, or data management are typically handled by Technical Support, Client Success teams, AiSP partners, or your organization’s internal iMIS administrators.
Cloud Services also does not perform custom development or scripting, including writing custom code, implementing integrations, or modifying application behavior.
Certain limitations apply within the hosting environment, including Cloud Services not configuring 301 redirects for client sites and hosted databases not distributed to on-premises clients due to intellectual property and security policies.
Cloud Services focuses on standardized hosting operations. The following requests may be declined or redirected to the appropriate service team that:
- Require extensive manual effort.
- Fall outside standard hosting services.
- Introduce security or operational risk.
