Identifying a member's primary club

Members can only have one primary club but can be listed as a member of multiple clubs.

For example, a member primarily goes to the Copper Heights club, but they also visit Rock Creek Club once-a-month when they are at their grandparent's house. This member's primary club is Copper Heights, but they also appear in the Rock Creek Club as a member.

You can designate a member's primary club from multiple locations:

Account creation - You can designate a member's primary club while you are adding them as a member. The Contact Account Creator content item must have Include primary club for individuals enabled.
Account page - You can designate a member's primary club directly from their account page. The Contact Mini Profile content item must have Allow input/selection or primary club enabled.

Deleting the club from the Primary club field will remove the member from the club.

From the club account page, you can also modify a member's Role, Begin/End dates, and delete the member from the club. Select the member's role to update their information.

Maintaining a member's primary club history

After you designate a primary club for a member, you can view the primary club history on the membership tab of the individual's account page. You can also view any previous club history if the member changed primary clubs.

For example, if you change a member's primary club from Copper Heights Club to Rock Creek Club, the history of the member being in Copper Heights Club will be maintained.

After you change the primary club, the Expiration date will automatically be set to the date you made the change. The new primary club's start date will be set to the date you changed the primary club with no end date.
